Rothschild Design is a multi-disciplinary design studio providing creative design solutions for nonprofits, corporations and foundations. Our work encompasses logotype development and business systems, marketing communications materials, package design, posters, capabilities brochures, annual reports, presentation materials, books and other forms of editorial design. Our goal is to provide appropriate and creative solutions to meet each client’s communication, design, and budget requirements.
Rothschild Design has received a number of awards including several Art Director’s Club awards, two Awards of Excellence for Print Magazine’s Regional Annual Design competition, the Printing Institute of America Award, several awards for communications in the medical field, as well as a Presidential Grant and Media Arts Department Design Award from the School of Visual Arts.
Joyce Rothschild
Principal
Ms. Rothschild received her bachelor’s degree with distinction in history and economics from Cornell University. After graduating, she studied graphic design and media communications at the School of Visual Arts and computer programming at New York University. Ms. Rothschild has taught computer graphics at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan.
Prior to opening the design studio, Ms. Rothschild worked as an associate designer at Peter Bradford & Associates; associate art director at HOME Magazine; and art director at Don Wise & Company. Ms. Rothschild accompanied a governmental cultural exhibition to the former Soviet Union which presented the processes and products of design and architecture in the United States. She has also consulted for a governmental agency to develop various publications throughout the African continent.
